Bookings online or telephone is considered a firm booking and so a 48 hour cancellation notice is required. 

Online bookings are confirmed with credit card and so will be charged accordingly if the 48 hour cancellation policy has not been adhered to.  If the weather conditions are not suitable for skydiving then we will offer you alternative times and days.  If these times don’t suit you then please let us know.

48 Hour Policy

An administration fee of $50 will be charged per person.


Jumpers who do not show up on the day of their jump will forfeit there jump and no refunds will be given. 

Weather


Should the weather be unsuitable for jumping on the day it is your responsibility to return to the parachute centre on another occasion(s) if necessary, to complete your jump. You must rebook within 20 days of each unsuccessful attempt.

Vouchers / Special Promotions

Vouchers are valid for 3 months from date of purchase. Gift vouchers are completely non-refundable.
 Once the date of your jump is booked you are required to give a minimum of 14 days notice to change this date and an admin fee of $50 per person will be charged.
If less than 14 days notice is given a $100 per person will be charged. 
Jumpers who do not show up on the day of their jump will forfeit there voucher.

Pricing and GST

Prices are in New Zealand Dollars and include the 15% (Goods and Service Tax).  We do not accept payment in any other currency. Your card issuer may apply charges for currency conversion.  These charges are applied by your card issuer, we accept no responsibility for these.  We reserve the right to change our prices at any time.  We will not change the price of a Skydive or order you have already made without prior notification.  This may only happen in the unlikely event that  the price has been displayed incorrectly.  In this instance, we reserve the right to withdraw your order and offer at the correct price.  Any unlikely occurrence will be dealt with the company discretion.

Payment

We accept Visa and Mastercard.  To pay by Credit Card select the card type and fill in your card details; card  number, expiry date and card holders full name. By giving us your Credit Card details you agree for us to take full payment from your credit card. Some credit cards may incur a 2% surcharge.

Online security

Shopping online is safe with us.  Your credit card details do not get processed or transmitted through or via our website; all transactions are processed through a secure payment service provider.  Your credit card details are not held by us and cannot be accessed by our staff.  Credit card issuers usually cover their customers against fraud for online transactions.  Check with your card issuer for details.

Delivery

Your goods will be delivered within New Zealand at a cost of $10 and overseas at a cost of $20.    Your merchandise will be dispatched within 2 working days of your order.  We aim to get your goods to you within 7 working days of receiving your order within New Zealand and 14 days for overseas orders.  We cannot be responsible for the New Zealand Postal Service.  Gift vouchers can be emailed to you at no cost other wise its $2 within NZ and $5 worldwide.

Returns Policy

If you are dissatisfied with your order for any reason we will be happy to give you a full refund if you return the goods to us undamaged within 14 days.  Please notify us by email the reason why you are dissatisfied with the goods, before you return them.  Goods returned without prior notification will not be accepted.

DVD & Photo  Policy

In the event that your DVD or photos malfunction and you choose to jump jump again then you must pay the full cost to repeat both the tandem jump and for the recording . After you have left our premises Skydive Zone takes no responsibility if the item is stolen, misplaced or damaged.

Postponement


We do not accept liability for any costs or expenses incurred if we have to postpone your jump, where the reason for the postponement is beyond our control.

Important notice


Parachuting is an adventure sport and participation in such sports necessarily involves a risk of injury or death regardless of the standard of training, supervision and equipment employed.



“By taking part in parachuting activities I voluntarily accept all the risks inherent in the sport and I agree for myself and my personal representatives to indemnify and hold harmless Skydive Zone Bay of Islands Ltd against any claim or claims whether on my own account or from third parties arising out of any accident or incident resulting in any loss or damage (including bodily injury and death).”
