Skydive Zone currently employs 10 staff members including tandem instructors, freefall photographers, manifesters, video editors, ground crew, parachute packers, pilots and sales and marketing specialists.

Gavin Horrell
Dropzone Owner - Gavin has made over 6,000 skydives and started his skydiving with the British Army in 1978, He continued with his skydiving again in 2000 where he then got his instructors ratings in 2002. He moved to New Zealand in 2005 and in 2006 competed in New Zealand National competition and won Gold and Silver in 8 way formation skydives. In 2009 he Started Skydive Zone.

Jason Kum ( Guru )
Camera Flyer - Started January 09 at NZ Skydiving school. He started his work placement here in August and become a full time staff memeber in November09. Has currently got 360+ jumps and is a good team member.
